The Future is Now. 
I am running for mayor because I am deeply committed to the future of this city. I have a deep love for this city, and I have chosen to raise my family here. Growing up in a single-parent home, I learned firsthand how vital a sense of community is. This community supported me, guided me, and helped me to become the person I am today. I want to be able to give back to this community by steering the city in the right direction for years and generations to come.
As a candidate, I am unique in that I am the only one running for mayor that actually has governmental experience. Being a council person for the last 8 years I have gained a plethora of knowledge that one can only attain by being in the trenches.
Our city is at a turning point, and we need an experienced, energetic mayor who can take us to the next level and propel us forward into the future. The future is now, and I am ready to lead the way.
